A statement from CSC & Rescue

The Clumber Spaniel Club wishes to make it known that its Rescue & Rehoming scheme has no involvement with the current rehoming of Clumber Spaniels from Europe.

The Club is aware that Clumber Spaniels are being offered as rescued dogs to new homes in the UK however it has no knowledge about these dogs and whether they have been assessed to the same high standards as the Clumber Spaniels that are rehomed through its own scheme. During the Rescue & Rehoming scheme vetting process dogs are tested for temperament, health and suitability for its new home by experienced breed assessors. Also in accordance with its own procedures no papers are ever provided.

The Club’s Rescue & Rehoming scheme has always been available to assist any Clumber in need of rehoming in the UK and is always able to assist and offer guidance to any new owner of a rescued Clumber Spaniel.

Ragley Hall Game Fair

From Adrian Peters;

Just back from the game fair,we all had a great time and the weather was with us and against us 37 degrees one day and then rain and 37 miles an hour wind,but we kept our slots and did each demo on time . I will post more photos and videos when I can find them.
Just like to thank everyone for helping make it a great weekend – Margaret Hughes, Izzie HIrst, Claire Knowles, Jac Gartside, Jan Redhea
