Spaniel Breeder Day – Canine Cancers

November 12, 2016

The Field Spaniel Health Charity has organised a Spaniel Breeder Day at the University of Nottingham on Canine Cancers on 12th November 2016.
Though aimed at Fields, Clumbers, ESS and Sussex, it can be extended to include other spaniel breeds and will be open to people of all breeds.

The format will be as follows;
The day’s usually run with small group discussions about what troubles the owners and breeders in their own dogs. We then get together for some short presentations about the work that Nottingham are doing.

The University have in the past included some specific talks but as they are trying to discover more about what is wrong in the breeds rather than telling owners about specific cancers that may not be relevant they try to avoid this.

The University will help with breeds with specific cancers to try and help move towards treatment and eradication.

The Cost for the day will be £20.00 including refreshments
