South Eastern Welsh Springer Spaniel Club Working Assessment Test

PLEASE NOTE THE SCHEDULE HAS BEEN REVISED

On the 14th May the South Eastern Welsh Springer Spaniel Club is holding working assessment tests for Spaniels (excluding ESS & Cockers).  As you will know, this is annual event, but this year we are back in North Kent near Wrotham.

We hope that you will be able to join us and if you can let others know of the event, they will be very welcome.  Attached is a copy of our schedule and entry form.

2023 AGM – A message from the Chair (Dave Boden)

Item of Note from the Clumber Spaniel Club AGM held at North Muskham 02 April 2023

Item 6 on the Agenda – Announcement of Officers, Committee and Coordinators.

In the case of the Officers and Coordinators, these were either uncontested or their term was still running, so these were as per the calling notice.

In the case of the committee, as a result of an error in the wording that had attracted 7 complaints from the members and advice received from the Kennel Club, the results were declared null and void, the results were destroyed and the item abandoned. The envelope containing the results has been destroyed unopened.

The Officers and Committee sincerely apologise for the error and have taken steps to prevent a recurrence. Those who originally put themselves forward will be contacted and asked if they wish to stand in the new ballot. When that is known, new paperwork will be prepared and sent out with the next mailing.

In the mean time the current committee is quorate and will continue in its current form until the result if the new ballot is known.”
